The Thuringian Goat
The Thuringian Goat originated from crossbreeding German goats with Swiss Toggenburg goats. This endangered breed has one lambing per year, which usually produces twins. Our animals have proven to be very strong jumpers. Depending on the height of the fence, you might occasionally meet young goats (kids) outside their enclosure – at least until they have eaten their fill. Some of our goats have horns, others do not, which is a genetic trait. Our animals are not dehorned.
