The Open Air Museum has everything to provide for your creature comforts: a unique setting for parties as well as sophisticated conference and accommodation facilities. The “Zum Adler” inn and the “Zum Hessenpark” country hotel with its “Alter Markt” restaurant are all part of the picturesque market square. After a stroll through the Open Air Museum, you can find refreshments in the “Martinsklause” (originally from the village of Remsfeld) opposite the new playground. The “Adler” is a beautiful historical inn serving the regional cuisine of Hessen. The country hotel combines a traditional atmosphere with modern convenience and comfort, and the “Martinsklause” pub offers simple food reminiscent of the 1950s. There are also rooms to hire for parties and events – with space for 10 to more than 300 people.

Enjoy traditional Hessian specialties during your visit to the Open Air Museum in the freshly renovated “Zum Adler” inn on the market square. Until 31 October 2020, the Adler will be open daily from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. under the current distancing and hygiene regulations. All guests are kindly asked to leave their full contact details so that in case of doubt, chains of infection can be tracked.

Whether you are planning a romantic weekend for two or organising a conference in an extraordinary setting, the country hotel is exactly the place you are looking for. It has 34 comfortably furnished rooms and several other rooms of different sizes for events, conferences and celebrations.
