For centuries, village life was fundamentally shaped by agriculture. At the Hessenpark Open Air Museum, visitors get the chance to experience historical agricultural practices, such as animal husbandry, first-hand. All year round, demonstrations on grain and fibre plant processing or on the everyday work of caring for the animals offer interested visitors an insight into the historical life and work of the rural population.
