Processing timber in the saw mill
Carpentry work and producing timber was carried out in the Störkel saw mill until 1977. Nowadays in the Open Air Museum, there is a horizontal sawframe, an edging saw and a belt saw in the building. The original vertical sawframe of Störkel family saw mill can be found in an extension on the main building. Many of the inbuilt machines are still functional and are displayed in operation on a few days during the year.
